The first part of Lagavulin was built in 1742 and ultimately established in 1816 making it one of the oldest of whisky distilleries.

Lagavulin is slow distilled giving a deep flavour potential and richness to the spirit which improves with age.. The standard single malt is 16 years old.

Lagavulin's deep peat smoke aroma is unmistakable and unforgettable... just like Islay.
