Caledonian MacBrayne run two ferry services all year to Islay. They depart Kennacraig and arrive on Islay at one of TWO destinations; Port Askaig in the north or Port Ellen in the south. The passage is two hours in duration and the ship steams through the sheltered waters past the islands off Gigha and latterly Jura. Click here to visit the CalMac website
