Claggain Bay
East Islay

 

Drive past Ardbeg Distillery and follow the road right to the end at Ardtalla Estate and you are greeted by a completely different beach with many quite large pebbles and colourful stones at the water's edge.

 

There is also a small sandy section at the south end of the bay. You are likely to see seals, birds and a host of other wildlife.

 

There is plenty off-road parking here.
