Caol Ila Distillery

Caol Ila was built in 1846 in a quiet, tranquil cove near Port Askaig. The distillery currently produces some 3.6 million litres of superb pale malt whisky, an aristocrat bottled and aged for 8 - 21 years before revealing its pedigree to those fortunate enough to taste.

Caol Ila is a light malt, subtle and with floral notes... just like Islay.
