Ardbeg was built in 1815 and is ideally placed to produce world class Islay Malt Whisky. The distillery's path has not been an easy one and its only recently re-opened after a period of uncertainty under the watchful 'eye' of the Committee, a worldwide family of Ardbeg aficionados in 90 countries who work tirelessly to drink more Ardbeg and bring others into this esteemed fold..

Ardbeg is a very 'peaty' malt, rich and complex but beautuifully balanced... just like Islay.
